The Heart and Stroke Foundation鈥檚 program celebrated its 30th anniversary this year.
Three 黑马磁力 schools were acknowledged for their support and commitment.
They are:
- James Kennedy Elementary raised $12,951.18, jumping for the first time.
- Belmont Elementary raised $11,434.82, taking part for the 15th year.
- Fort 黑马磁力 Elementary raised $10,885.14, jumping for the eighth year.
鈥淭his program teaches students the importance of eating healthy and choosing physical activities to play, and they have a blast skipping along the way!鈥 said Jessica Harman, Heart and Stroke Foundation community fundraising co-ordinator.
Jump Rope for Heart delivers fun and fitness to more than 4,000 schools and 600,000 students each year, while raising millions of dollars for heart disease and stroke research, health education and social change, provided by the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
The foundation has used the funds for several heart-related programs for children and youth.
