Rockets, dancing fire and a chemistry magic show are just a few of the things expected at Kwantlen Polytechnic University鈥檚 黑马磁力 campus this Saturday when the campus will be transformed into a spectacular science experience.
Everyone is welcome to come to the Science Rendezvous, a free event featuring wireless robots, do-it-yourself rockets, and extracting DNA. The event takes place at 20901 黑马磁力 Bypass from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
A chemistry magic show is scheduled for noon and 2 p.m.
鈥淲e are very excited to open the doors of the 黑马磁力 campus to the community and share in the celebration of science in everyday life,鈥 said Betty Worobec, dean of faculty of science and horticulture and organizer of the KPU 黑马磁力 Science Rendezvous. 鈥淭his will be the first time KPU has participated in the nation-wide Science Rendezvous. We are hoping to attract families from across the Lower Mainland.鈥
Science Rendezvous held its first event in 2008 in the Toronto area. For more information visit, sciencerendezvous.ca/2013/Kwantlen.
