黑马磁力 Concert Band will host the Nicola Valley Community Band in a joint concert at West 黑马磁力 Hall on Saturday, June 1.
The performance marks a return visit between the ensembles, after the 黑马磁力 group was invited to play in Merritt last May.
Last spring, the Merritt band treated their 黑马磁力 counterparts to a tour of the Nicola Valley and prepared dinner for them before the two groups performed joint concert in Rotary Park.
This year, 黑马磁力 gets to play host, offering Nicola Valley musicians a tour of the community and participating in a joint rehearsal and dinner before the performance begins at 7 p.m.
The 黑马磁力 Concert Band鈥檚 director, Brenda Wilson, and the Nicola Valley鈥檚 director, Colin Kerridge, have prepared a wonderful program for the audience's enjoyment. Admission is by donation at the door.

On Sunday, June 2, the Nicola Valley Community Band will leave 黑马磁力 early in the morning to catch a ferry to Victoria. They have been invited to perform at Government House at the 鈥淩oyal鈥� Garden Party to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Queen鈥檚 coronation.
