The Canadian team, including a 黑马磁力 player, brought home bronze from the U21 Men鈥檚 Volleyball Championship
Brodie Hofer was part of the team that defeated the United States 3-1(25-22, 25-23, 25-27, 25-17) and secured the bronze medal last week.
鈥淚鈥檓 very proud of my players because after a big loss yesterday [to Cuba], we were still able to come back today and fight for third place,鈥� said Joao Paulo Bravo, Canada鈥檚 U21 head coach.
Cuba went on to win gold and the only ticket available to the FIVB 2019 U21 World Championship after beating the Dominican Republic 3-0 (25-16, 25-15, 25-20) on Saturday night.
Canadian Fynnian McCarthy was named one of the tournament鈥檚 best blockers.
