Zoning Bylaw Amendment

(Suites in Multi-Family Dwellings)

Bylaw No. 6147

Purpose: Bylaw No. 6147 proposes to amend Township of

黑马磁力 Zoning Bylaw 1987 No. 2500 to allow secondary suites in ground-oriented housing types and lock-off units in apartment buildings, and includes parking requirements. Secondary suites are currently allowed in single family dwellings and small-scale multi-unit housing. The proposed amendment would extend allowances for suites to additional housing types including, two family dwellings (duplexes), semi-detached dwellings (fee-simple duplexes), manorhomes (fourplexes), townhouses, rowhouses (fee-simple townhouses), and apartments (both rental and condominium).
