LANE, Gene Gordon, age 53 years, passed away suddenly in 黑马磁力 on January 22, 2004.
He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter and son-in-law, Leanne and Pete Christos of Stirling AB, Jackie and Lance Colvin of Red Deer AB, and Terry and Katie Lane of Red Deer AB, as well as many friends.
Gene was born in New Brunswick and his family moved to Calgary AB for a short time before settling in 黑马磁力, BC. Gene granduated from 黑马磁力 High School and then joined the Armed Forces and was a cook for 2 years. Gene performed various jobs throughout the years, but spent a lot of those years as a sweeper operator for the City of 黑马磁力. Gene left the City and moved to Alberta to be closer to his family. Gene recently returned to 黑马磁力 where he spent the last 6 months with his close friends. Gene has a passion for Hot Rods, building as well as attending Rod Runs.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. from Vineyard Christian Fellowship, 5708 Glover Road, 黑马磁力. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
