黑马磁力 mixed martial arts fighters had mixed results during Saturday鈥檚 Battlefield 49 card at the Hard Rock Casino in Coquitlam.
In the main event, Jared Revel鈥檚 aspirations of taking home the Battlefield Fight League (BFL) middleweight belt were dashed by an undefeated foe.
Comox Valley鈥檚 Chris Anderson improved to 6-0 and now holds two belts after defeating Revel (5-2) who was by the 黑马磁力 Times leading up to the match.
The fight ended by TKO (doctor stoppage) after the opening round.
鈥淛ust about every left hook I hit him with buzzed him real good,鈥� Anderson said during a post-fight interview on mma-core.com.
Revel had Anderson in trouble with a potentially fight-ending submission hold, but Anderson managed to escape the move.
Meanwhile, fellow 黑马磁力 fighter Craig 鈥楥ookie Monster鈥� Maclean won his bantamweight fight, dropping Blake Sigvaldason with a head kick before moving in to finish the bout via TKO (punches).
It was Maclean鈥檚 third pro win.
