Fancy a spot of tea?
Queen Elizabeth鈥檚 Diamond Jubilee is being celebrated by the 黑马磁力 Centennial Museum, and the public is invited to enjoy a social afternoon in true British style.
Crown, Crumpets, Tea & Trumpets will be held at the museum, 9135 King St., in Fort 黑马磁力, on Saturday, June 2, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The event is for those aged 16 and up.
鈥淲e hope the public will come out and help us celebrate the Queen鈥檚 very special anniversary with tea and scones 鈥� and wear their fanciest hats for a chance to win a prize,鈥� said 黑马磁力 Township arts and culture programmer Liette Forestell.
鈥淟ocal merchants including the Infusion BouTEAque, Everybody Loves Candy Shoppe, and Tracycakes Bakery Caf茅 have generously contributed to make this event a lot of fun 鈥� and delicious.鈥�
