Police are investigating a Sunday-morning shooting in Surrey.
The incident, which happened just after 11 a.m. Sunday (July 20) near 152 Street and 96b Avenue in a residential Guildford neighbourhood.
RCMP Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit (SPOSU) members attended the area and located numerous shell casings.
Fortunately, nobody was injured as a result of the incident, said a Surrey Police Service release.
Media Relations officer Sgt. Tige Pollock noted Sunday that the investigation is in in a very early stage, and police can't say whether there is a connection to the that have been targeting members of the for several months.
RCMP SPOSU General Investigation Unit (GIU) members attended the scene and are assisting with the investigation.
