McLeod Athletic Park in ºÚÂí´ÅÁ¦ was hosting a huge Canada Day bash on July 1.
It all started with traditional dancers.
Entertainment includes live music and circus talent, a Kids Zone featuring free activities such as bouncy castles, mini golf, a climbing wall, games and activities, a food and beverage zone, a local artisan zone, with an evening drone light show at 10:15 p.m. presented by Lark Group.
The show attracted big crowds to close out July 1, including Chase Serfajuan.
"It was actually my first time seeing a drone show and honestly I was super amazed – it was really cool and fun to watch," he said.
He saw clips of the Chilliwack drone event and liked one aspect he hopes will make it into future ºÚÂí´ÅÁ¦ events – a Happy Canada Day message.
"But overall, I really enjoyed it, and hope there’ll be more like that in the future," he said.
