To ensure the safety of customers and crew members, BC Ferries is cancelling multiple sailing between the Tsawwassen and Swartz Bay terminals.
On Wednesday, March 27, the 10 a.m. sailing departing from Tsawwassen in Metro Vancouver and the noon sailing from Swartz Bay will be cancelled due to Environment Canada鈥檚 severe weather forecast for high winds in the Strait of Georgia.

A sailing departing from Tsawwassen at 2 p.m. and departing from Swartz Bay at 4 p.m. are also at a risk of cancellation.
Two additional sailings are at risk of cancellation: the 2 p.m. departing Tsawwassen and the 4 p.m. departing Swartz Bay.
鈥淲e know you have important places to be. We are currently monitoring the weather conditions with the goal of getting you underway as soon as it鈥檚 safe to do so. If conditions do not improve, the following additional sailings may need to be cancelled and we will let you know if that happens,鈥 noted a notice from BC Ferries.
Those who have booked one of the cancelled sailings will hear from B.C. Ferries鈥 customer service centre to see if they can fit customers on an alternative sailing later in the day.
