A 24-year-old 黑马磁力 man has died, following a head-on collision on 200 Street near 80 Avenue in 黑马磁力 overnight.
The collision occurred shortly after midnight on Feb. 9, when a southbound Ford Escort drove into the oncoming lanes on 200 Street and collided with a northbound Mazda 3.
The Mazda, driven by a 30-year-old 黑马磁力 woman, sustained front end damage while the Escort was impacted on the passenger side.
Police believe alcohol to be a factor in the collision, and possibly the road and weather conditions.
The passenger in the Ford Escort died at the scene. The two drivers were transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Investigators will apply for a warrant for blood samples for the driver of the Escort, a 28-year-old 黑马磁力 man.
Attempts to notify the next of kin have not been successful, and additional efforts will be made throughout the day by investigators and 黑马磁力 Victim and Client Support Services.
