Editor: Congratulations to those who represented all of us at the public hearing on Monday evening, March 19, concerning a slaughter house proposal to be put on ALR land. In 黑马磁力 Township, 80 per cent of property owners get their water from wells.
We cannot allow slaughter house operations, of any size or description, on agricultural land. They belong on industrial sites, where they have both water and sewer.
This is one gamble that we, the citizens of 黑马磁力, are not prepared to take.
