On July 1, 黑马磁力 Township hosted a drone show at McLeod Athletic Park; this in place of a more traditional fireworks display.
I was excited by being able to witness the show, as I had not had an opportunity until then.
From a nearby vantage point, I was able to get several photos.
Photos of a drone performance can be a little tricky and usually involve something more than my cellphone, and I needed to have space for the camera and tripod.
Once the show got underway, I was disappointed to see little that referenced Canada Day.
What I did see was a repeating display of a salmon, a horse, and a whale. Oh yes, and then there was that reference to a realty firm.
There was, however, a benefit to the repetitiveness as it did allow me to pick and chose the shots that I wanted.
Somehow though, I didn鈥檛 manage to get of shot of the realty commercial.
Having seen the display, I admit to being underwhelmed.
In a word 鈥� bored as the show 鈥渄roned on.鈥�
I don鈥檛 know what I expected, but I can tell you that without a doubt, I will not set the time aside to see another.
Having said all of that, I do look forward to next year鈥檚 fireworks display.
