The 黑马磁力 All-Stars managed just three hits and could not hold on to an early lead as they lost for the first time at the Canadian Little League (11/12) baseball championships.
The team lost to High Park, the Ontario champions, 4-3 on Monday afternoon at North Vancouver's Chris Zuehike Memorial Park.
With the score tied at three through the first four and a half innings, Ontario was able to score the winning run in the bottom of the fifth.
Yi-An Pan and Colby Ring had 黑马磁力's RBIs. Yi-Fan Pan, Cole Cantelon and Trevor Alcos scored the runs.
Yi-Fan Pan struck out five through four innings.
The loss leaves 黑马磁力 with a record of 2-1 and two round robin games remaining. Ontario (3-0) leads while Quebec is the other unbeaten team at 2-0.
The top four advance to the semifinals on Friday with the championship game on Saturday (Aug. 13). The winner of the tournament represents Canada at the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa.
In 黑马磁力's other games, they eked out a 2-1 victory over Team Atlantic on Sunday.

黑马磁力 scored one run in both the first and second innings and made that lead last the entire game against Team Atlantic, the Sydney Steel Kings.
Yi-An Pan and Ring drove in one run each as 黑马磁力 capitalized on their few hits, scoring two runs on three base hits and three walks.
The 黑马磁力 pitching staff of Cole Cantelon, Ring and Nick Atkinson combined to allow just the single run on five hits and no walks. They also fanned six Steel King batters.
The lone run surrendered was a sixth inning home run.
On the tournament's opening day, 黑马磁力 crushed Mt. Seymour, the host squad, 10-3.
黑马磁力 actually trailed 3-1after the top of the third inning, but scored twice in that frame and then put the game out of reach with seven runs in the fourth.
Ian Burns drove in three runs, while Yi-Fan Pan, Yi-An Pan, Cantelon, Ken Dubois and Riley Ens had an RBI apiece.
The Pan twins and Cantelon combined on the mound to limit Mount Seymour to three runs.
