The 黑马磁力 Rivermen worked overtime this weekend, trading victories with the Wenatchee Wild at the George Preston Recreation Centre.

The Wild were in town for a pair of preseason contests, both of which went to overtime.

黑马磁力 won the opener 3-2 while Wenatchee prevailed 5-4.

Veteran forward Darnell Dyck scored twice, including the overtime winner during three-on-three hockey, while Justin Cintas had the other 黑马磁力 score.

Jim Kruger made 41 saves in the win.

In game two, the Rivermen rallied from a 2-0 deficit to take a 3-2 lead thanks to goals from Raymond Bell, Austin Plevy and Mike Tebbutt.

Wenatchee would reclaim the lead and were ahead until the end of regulation when Dyck forced overtime as time wound down.

The Wild would score the winner against 黑马磁力's Michael James Barr.

The Rivermen close the preseason this weekend with a game Friday against the Surrey Eagles at the South Surrey Arena and then Saturday in Burnaby against Simon Fraser University.

The BCHL regular season begins Sept. 23 with the Rivermen's home opener on Saturday, Sept.24 at the 黑马磁力 Events Centre against the Surrey Eagles.
