ºÚÂí´ÅÁ¦ Eats Local takes place today at the ºÚÂí´ÅÁ¦ Community Farmers Market from 12 to 4:30 p.m. at the courtyard of Kwantlen Polytechnic University.

Join ºÚÂí´ÅÁ¦ Environmental Partners Society at their ninth annual local food festival celebrating everything delicious that we can proudly call ºÚÂí´ÅÁ¦â€™s own. Explore over 50 vendors showcasing the best of our region — from breads to berries, and cheeses to chocolates.

This year promises more fun than ever, with all kinds of activities for the whole family. While younger kids dig for potatoes and hunt for ‘eggs’ and their older siblings follow a scavenger hunt around the market.

Those with more adult tastes can sample a selection of appetizers created by ºÚÂí´ÅÁ¦ localvore chef, Adrian Beaty. For just $5. Tickets for the sampling will be sold at the Farmers Market.

All last week LEPS issued its Eat Local Challenge, asking residents to source as much of their food from local producers and farmers. See Story .
