Is there any better combination for Father鈥檚 Day?
Township 7 Winery has designed a fundraising event especially for dad on Sunday, June 16 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Township 7 has partnered with local charcuterie Beast & Brine鈥檚 Chef Ryan Bissell for a fun day of tasting, called Wine & Swine, with proceeds going to help the Pacific Assistance Dogs Society (PADS).
PADS 鈥渨ine鈥� puppies Pinot, Syrah, Merlot, Grigio, Bacchus, Verdot, Malbec, and Gamay, will also be on hand.
On the menu for the afternoon: Fraser Valley sourced, all-natural bacon paired with Township 7鈥檚 wines.
Six wine and bacon sampling stations will be spread throughout the picturesque south 黑马磁力 vineyard.
Bourbon bacon donuts, by Cartems Donuterie, top off the tastings.
鈥淧ancetta, Prosciutto, candied bacon, back bacon, lamb bacon, heritage bacon and our wine for a good cause? You had me at the bacon,鈥� said Mike Raffan, proprietor of Township 7 Vineyards & Winery.

This is the second year Township 7 has done a fundraiser for PADS.
PADS is a non-profit society that trains assistance dogs for people with disabilities and supports their client/dog teams for the working life of the PADS鈥� dog.
鈥淧ADS is thrilled that Township 7 has once again selected PADS as their charity of choice for the upcoming Father鈥檚 Day event.
鈥淟ast year PADS clients, volunteers, staff and puppies thoroughly enjoyed the day at the vineyards and everyone left saying that they would happily attend again next year, said Laura Watamanuk, PADS executive director. 鈥淲e are very excited to . . . introduce the Township 7 wine enthusiasts to some of our new puppies in training, including our 鈥榳ine-themed鈥� litter.鈥�
For more than 25 years PADS dogs have changed lives.
Tickets to the 鈥淲ine and Swine charity day are $15 for adults and $8 for kids in support of PADS.
